O.Henry's
Coffee & Company
Born in the early ’90s, O.Henry’s grew up in the era of the classic coffee shop: a space filled with old books, worn leather couches, and warm wood textures. It wasn’t trying to be cool. It was trying to be comfortable. And for over 30 years, that comfort made it a Birmingham institution. But as the brand looked to expand, it needed a clearer way to express what made it feel so welcoming, and so unlike the cold, modern cafés that now are more focused on drive-thru than sit down. O.Henry’s is about community. The baristas who know your name. The regulars who make the space feel familiar. The sense of connection that comes not from spectacle, but from simple, everyday presence. That feeling — of being part of something shared — became the foundation of the brand’s voice moving forward. O.Henry’s still feels like the neighborhood coffee shop it’s always been. Just with a little more clarity, and a little more room for everyone to find their place.
